Digging Ditches:
We have a God who transcends capacity
We measure by limitations but God has no limits
What God forms, he fills
What is your capacity? God is a space-filler and will fill space He creates
Sometimes time and comfort become reason to distance ourselves from God; saying you're not in the mood to go to church is a luxury of godo times
Sincerity trumps manipulation; you cannot manipulate God
There is power in one: you can be the "one" for your family, your workplace (ex: everyone at work curses - be the one who models different behavior)
God didn't send legions of angels to redeem the world, he sent one in swaddling clothes
Never underestimate your value - it is why the enemy fights you so hard
Getting water requires work; dig your own ditch. Tired...dig. Weak...dig. Faint...dig
Create the capacity and space that God can fill - He will fill it to your capacity!
The enemy can numb your thirst or hunger for God; he will try to get you to not dig your ditch
Your next breakthrough could be on the others side of a ditch you dig - it's okay to start small
Ask yourself:
Have you been serving another master than asking God where your miracles are?
Do you have a relationship with Jesus or a relationship with Sundays?
Do you pray over your house/marriage/family/________?
Can you dig in low points of your life?
Are you encouraging others?
