Dreams to Destiny:
There is a difference between being nice (not wanting to offend) and being kind (telling the truth - even if it offends) to others. Love those around you enough to be kind instead of nice
Ask yourself:
What would you do if you did the right thing and suffered the wrong results?
For example, someone lies about you and others believe that lie
Have you ever said that as long as God delivers you out of an unwanted or uncomfortable circumstance, than you could do more for God?
We are called to have glory (to rejoice) in tribulations
Will you do something great for God even if the circumstances you're in are unjust?
In your tribulations, what is God trying to teach you?
Trials vs Tribulations:
Tribulation produces
Perseverance produces
Character produces
Hope produces
Divine Appointments
Tribulations are long and produce perseverance
Trails are short and product patience (waiting with contentment)
Perseverance is a long process. Here are some examples:
Joseph: 13 years
David: 13 years
Abraham: 25 years
Moses: 40 years
In John 16:33, we see that we WILL have tribulations but Jesus has overcome the world
Rejoice in tribulation
Keep your hope in God and not in your circumstances
Don't be inwardly focused on your circumstances; be focused on and have hope in God
